This is our second time at this property and it didn't disappoint. Fantastic for kids: our 18 month old loved pointing out the sheep and our 3 year old loved the playpark on site. The toys were enjoyed by both and having them to play with make our stay easier and more restful. Once the kids were in bed the log burner was great to chill out in front of, particularly after a rainy day. Wonderful scenery and walks surround. Short drive to Kirkby Stephen with the cafes, shops, restaurants and takeaways. A great location to get away from it all and explore the area. Hosts are lovely and very helpful. Would recommend staying here, we all had a great time!

What a fantastic find this place was! We booked as a family of 6, to visit friends and family nearby. It was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for us all to relax.

We found the house to be well appointed with everything that we needed and decorated tastefully (keeping the character of the building). There were some lovely views across the to the fells. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed to cook for our family. We were able to park right outside, so it was super easy to load/unload the car.

Amazing for kids!! We loved watching the fell ponies and sheep, and even better, there is a great outdoor play area with picnic benches and a trampoline for extra fun!

There was lots to do locally and fabulous that its situated only 3 miles from Kirkby Stephen Town for shops/pubs.

The property was spotless, comfortable & well furnished. We stay in a lot of properties & this is highly recommended in terms of decor & comfort. A lot of thought & care has gone into this converted barn.

View was & outdoor space is amazing - we were fortunate to have good weather to be able to sit out.

BBQ facilities were provided but we didn't get chance to use it.

The surrounding area - so much to do. Our 3 night stay was too short. It's far enough away to feel remote but close to 2 decent villages. We had take away from Mango Tree & would recommend this.

Dianne as a host was perfect. She left extras for us to enjoy. The home made cake was what makes you feel that extra bit special.
